High St. Road Closure Westbound
Starting January 27th, 2025 for ten weeks.

Due to gas works the High street will be a one way street for 10 weeks. 
From Newbury side ( heading Eastbound towards Reading) you can come along the street as normal. 

From the motorway (Reading side) you will have to drive along the relief road to the roundabout, then along the High street.
This will add an extra 4 minutes to your journey. 

The pubs are open as usual and we appreciate your support!

Our  opening times are as follows.  

Monday - Friday  12 noon - 11pm.   
Dining:  Lunch  12 noon to 2.15pm.  Dinner 5pm to 9:15pm

Saturday 12 noon - 11.30pm  
Dining:   Food served all day   12 noon to 9.30pm

Sunday 12 noon - 8pm 
Dining:  12 noon to 5.30pm

Situated in the pretty village of Theale just off junction 12 on the M4 motorway.

We have been rated 5 stars by Food Hygiene and 5 stars by Cask Marque 

Our traditional pub has ample distanced inside seating areas if required.
We have a covered outdoor seated patio area along with a bench seating area.
